Tableau & Jasper Service Administrator

FedTec is seeking a dedicated Tableau & Jasper Service Administrator to oversee the critical visualization and reporting infrastructure for Data Analytics Shared Services. This role ensures that analytics tools are highly available, performant, and securely integrated with enterprise authentication services, while providing cross-functional backup support for the broader analytics ecosystem.

Location: (On-Site) Remote

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee Tableau and Jaspersoft servers, managing installations, upgrades, and patches to maintain the "Production" and "Staging" environments.
  • Configure authentication integrations between analytics tools and identity solutions
  • Monitor availability and performance of reporting services, providing monthly reports and implementing tuning measures (CPU/Memory) to ensure optimal uptime.
  • Support deployments and visualizations, assisting Data Practitioners in testing work products in Staging before promotion to Production.
  • Serve as a backup administrator for other analytics tools such as MicroStrategy and R Server to ensure continuous service delivery.
  • Resolve Tier II/III technical tickets related to visualization tools and report generation, coordinating with infrastructure teams as needed.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides and system security plans (SSP) for the analytics platforms.

Basic Qualifications Required Education, Certifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field with 3+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience in Tableau Server Administration and/or Jaspersoft (Jasper) Administration.
  • Familiarity with identity management and SSO (SAML, OIDC, Okta).
  • Experience with server monitoring and performance tuning in an AWS-hosted environment.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., AWS Aurora, SQL Server) for troubleshooting data connections and reporting issues.
  • Working knowledge of federal security standards, including NIST 800-53 and the RMF process.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for Tier II/III customer support and stakeholder coordination.
