SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance Functional Specialist

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance (PM) Functional Specialist to support the design, implementation, and optimization of asset management processes within our SAP S/4HANA landscape.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP EAM/PM configuration and business processes, with exposure to Field Service Management (FSM) considered a strong plus.
• This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and IT to ensure scalable, efficient, and reliable asset lifecycle management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance (PM) solutions in S/4HANA environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications and scalable solutions.

Configure and support core EAM processes, including:

• Preventive maintenance
• Corrective maintenance
• Work order management
• Asset hierarchy and equipment master data
• Notifications and maintenance planning
• Support integration with related modules such as MM, PP, WM/EWM, and Finance.

• Participate in solution design workshops, testing cycles, and go-live support.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset reliability and maintenance efficiency.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and providing post-go-live support.
• Document business processes, system configurations, and solution architecture.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance experience in implementation or support roles.

Hands-on experience configuring:

• Maintenance notifications
• Work orders
• Maintenance plans and task lists
• Equipment and functional locations

• Strong understanding of maintenance business processes and asset lifecycle management.
• Experience working in S/4HANA environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional design and SAP configuration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Field Service Management (FSM).
• Knowledge of mobile maintenance or technician dispatch processes.
• Exposure to integration between EAM and FSM or other field service platforms.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, energy, or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps for maintenance processes.
