Job DescriptionThe Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget (DTMB) promotes a unified approach to information technology management and provides centralized administration of services for departments and agencies within the executive branch of state government.
Agency Services is responsible for delivering all technology solutions to our state agency partners-and by extension, to Michigan's citizens, tourists, and business clients. This support spans the full lifecycle of technology solutions, from development through ongoing maintenance and operational support.
This position functions as a
Business Relationship Manager (BRM) within an Agency Services team of technology professionals supporting the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). LARA is the principal executive department responsible for business regulation, professional licensing, and consumer protection across the State of Michigan. The BRM role supporting LARA is responsible for leading a division of highly skilled team members in support of the development, maintenance, operations, and long-range planning for all LARA IT business solutions and services.

Vacation and Sick Leave: Eligible full-time employees receive between
15 and 35 personal days and
13 sick days per year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.
Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees can take
12 weeks of paid leave immediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
Paid Holidays: Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year's Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
