(Relocation package available for candidates living more than 50 miles away)

Position Type:- Full-Time | Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

About the Job

As a Mechanical Supervisor in our Industrial Business Department, you will lead and manage construction projects for Industrial Wastewater Treatment facilities. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. This role also includes supporting startup, commissioning, and maintenance activities to ensure a smooth transition to stable plant operations.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and report on construction projects from start to finish, including reviewing drawings and structures.
  • Manage suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
  • Coordinate startup, commissioning, and maintenance activities for wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Review and modify subcontractor inspection documents; manage RFIs and submittals.
  • Upload completion inspection and handover documents on CPMS (or equivalent platform).
  • Organize and track punch items post-inspection; ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with clients, reflect requirements on-site, and communicate with contractors.
  • Review design and construction documents, providing feedback as needed.
  • Attend meetings with clients, engineers, and contractors; document and share minutes.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering on construction sites.
  • Experience in water treatment facility and plant projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and professional documentation.
  • Familiarity with reviewing specifications and shop drawings.
  • Knowledge of Navisworks and Bluebeam.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as PE or PMP.
  • Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling tools (Revit, Navisworks).
  • Experience in high-tech (semiconductor) projects and EPC projects.
  • International and multi-cultural project experience.
  • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (MS Teams, Webex, Zoom).
