Onsite in Camp Lejeune, NC

The organization seeks an IT Systems Technician to install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and workstations across stand-alone and client-server environments. The role will integrate multiple information systems, troubleshoot LAN and base networks, and optimize routing and switching. The position requires hands-on expertise with Microsoft platforms and core networking protocols to maintain mission capability and resolve customer issues.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $25.00 to $25.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, service, repair, and maintain IT systems in stand-alone and client-server environments.
  • Administer and support Microsoft server, Defense Message Systems, and other authorized IT systems.
  • Install and maintain hardware and software for network services, storage networking devices, and servers.
  • Integrate multiple information systems in a networked environment.
  • Evaluate and resolve customer information systems problems and incidents.
  • Perform hardware upgrades and repairs to maintain mission capability.
  • Install and configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, transmission media, and server hardware and software.
  • Ensure proper installation and configuration of workstation hardware and software for efficient network operation.
  • Install, optimize, and troubleshoot Local Area Networks and Base Area Networks.

Experience Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft server environments.
  • Experience with DMS or comparable secure messaging systems.
  • Proficiency with IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, and NAT.
  • Experience installing and configuring wireless hubs, routers, switches, and transmission media.
  • Ability to integrate and troubleshoot multi-system networked environments.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving customer IT issues across servers, networks, and workstations.

Education Requirements:
  • CompTIA A+ certification.
  • CompTIA Network+ certification.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
  • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification.
