Job Description / Required Skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as a Database Manager supporting the Health Management System (HMS) modernization and data migration efforts
Create system designs and provide documentation for enhancements, additions, and bug fixes
Modify and develop application code and database code for User Acceptance Testing
Troubleshoot system issues and document resolutions in coordination with HMS Support and Applications teams
Provide work estimates, status updates, and participate in Release Planning, Sprint Planning, and Daily Scrum activities
Document application modifications and maintain records in the documentation repository
Develop utilities to support developer unit testing
Ensure compliance with data security, confidentiality, and departmental policies
Complete all required training as assigned by the Department
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 7+ years of experience as an InterSystems IRIS/Cach Object Script Developer
Minimum 7+ years of experience in IRIS/Cach database design, data modeling, and SQL
Minimum 7+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Minimum 5+ years of experience with SQL queries, JSON, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, and XML
Strong expertise in object-oriented programming
Experience in building and consuming web services in Cach
Working knowledge of SOAP, SSL certificates, Java keystores, and encryption
Familiarity with network/file transfer protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, SFTP, PGP, public/private keys)
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and HIPAA compliance
Preferred Skills:
Strong experience with IRIS Database and backend database analysis
Experience supporting developer unit testing and utility development
Prior experience in healthcare or EHR systems
Local to Tallahassee, FL (preferred as client is moving toward onsite work)
