Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technician II to provide hands-on and remote IT support in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment. This role is ideal for a customer-focused IT professional who thrives in onsite support, enjoys solving complex technical issues, and excels at supporting end users across Windows and Mac environments.
As a Field Technician II, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional desktop and field support services, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing tickets, and ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations for onsite and remote users.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality onsite and remote desktop support for Windows 10/11 and macOS environments
Provide Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems
Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests while meeting defined SLA targets
Troubleshoot and support desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and mobile devices (Android and iOS)
Support Office 365 applications, with a focus on Outlook and end-user productivity tools
Assist with Active Directory tasks including user account creation, password resets, and access permissions
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including wireless, VPN, and remote access (Citrix, Zscaler)
Support remote users and virtual desktop environments efficiently and securely
Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution
Required Skills/Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
3+ years of IT Desktop Support or Field Support experience
Strong experience supporting Windows 10/11, Office 365, and end-user hardware
Working knowledge of macOS desktop and laptop configuration and troubleshooting
Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management best practices
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN)
Proven ability to work in a high-volume, SLA-driven environment
Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
