Cardiovascular Surgical Tech CWRJob Summary\\n The Cardiovascular Surgical Tech is responsible for cleaning and handling instruments following standard policies while maintaining updated records. This role involves ensuring proper care and handling of surgical instruments, maintaining accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments, and adhering to established policies for medication administration and specimen handling. The Surgical Tech will also control contamination, manage decontamination, disinfection, sterilization, and sanitation of instruments and equipment, and assist in team conferences to plan and evaluate patient care. The role requires physical capabilities such as lifting, pushing, and standing for extended periods, as well as the ability to address the specific needs of diverse patient populations.
Required Qualifications\\n

\\n - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac OR.
\\n - Ability to scrub in cardiac surgery.
\\n - Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program or appropriate training program.
\\n - Surgical Technician Certificate.
\\n - BLS-AHA certification.
\\n

Preferred Qualifications\\n
\\n
\\n - Experience with CABG, MVR/AVR, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, aneurysms, ECMO/Impella, and lead extractions.
