Role: Quality Assistant
Location: Richmond, VA – Onsite
Duration: 8 Months | Potential Full-Time Conversion
Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Assistant to support incoming inspection, testing, measurement, and quality documentation for mechanical and electrical components.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspections and testing of mechanical and electrical parts.
- Use measurement and testing tools such as CMM, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Prepare dimensional, inspection, and test reports.
- Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials.
- Support First Article Measurement Reports and SPC data collection.
- Investigate product defects and assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Review supplier documentation and support Supplier Quality Engineers.
Required Skills
- Quality Assurance, Inspection, and Measurement Tools experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work with high-voltage products/components.
Experience: 1+ Year
Education: High School Diploma
