Job Title: LogRhythm Certified Consultant

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 2 projects 180+ Hours (Part Time)

Background

Client is migrating from their existing All-In-One LogRhythm appliance to a distributed LogRhythm deployment. Client has asked Optiv to provide an engagement where Optiv will assist with a variety of activities relating to the migration of the existing LogRhythm SIEM to the new hardware.

Goals and Objectives:

Through scoping discussions and information provided by Client, the following goals and objectives have been identified for this project:

Update the LogRhythm Platform Manager (PM)
Install latest version of LogRhythm on the Data Processor (DP) and Data Indexer (DX)
Transfer the configuration (lists, rules, etc.) from the existing LogRhythm XM to the new PM, DP, and DX
Redirect all of the Log Collectors to the LogRhythm DP
Transfer the existing log data to the new LogRhythm PM, DP, and DX
Perform health and config review of the new LogRhythm system
Optimize and tune as necessary for immediate performance
