A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Network Deployment Engineer.

Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 6 months
Location: Abilene, TX

As a Network Deployment Engineer, you will:
  • Lead post-sales deployment and implementation of enterprise network solutions for clients across various locations.
  • Design, configure, test, stage, and deploy network hardware and software solutions.
  • Develop implementation plans, technical designs, and deployment strategies based on customer requirements.
  • Manage projects through the full deployment lifecycle, ensuring milestones, timelines, and service level agreements are met.
  • Collaborate with clients, ISPs, carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise on network architecture, integrations, infrastructure requirements, and service delivery.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, configuration records, and system designs.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support high-availability environments involving routing, switching, DNS, load balancing, and WAN/LAN technologies.
  • Participate in customer status meetings and provide technical guidance throughout project execution.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and deployment best practices.
  • Stay current on networking, cloud, virtualization, and emerging technology trends.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years with of engineering deployment responsibilities involving complex client requirements assessment, solutions design and implementation within the technology services industry. 
  • Previous post-sales engineering experience with network solutions including requirement definitions and implementation plans, end to end system designs, equipment staging, configuration creation and testing, and solution deployment of varying types of software and/or hardware network solution deployments spanning geographical separation.
  • Excellent Layer 2 & 3 networking skills including strong knowledge and proficiency in industry-standard networking technologies and infrastructures including cabling, LAN, WAN, and various telecommunication access methods, DNS based Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) theory as well as legacy networking technologies and system interdependencies
  • Production environment experience consisting of directly managing routers, switches, global and local load balancing, SSL acceleration, HTTP compression/caching, and DNS in a high-availability infrastructure.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, SharePoint, ERP, AutoCAD, service delivery management tools and related cloud based technology systems.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Cloud & Virtualization technologies
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Microsoft System Engineer (MCSE), or related certifications.
  • Experience with Managed Service Provider environment

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $45 - $55 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
