About the role:

As a Master Data Specialist in our Process Engineering group, you will maintain production data associated with the thousands of products delivered by Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB) annually. Much of this activity occurs within our production system (SAP) through maintenance of Material Masters, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Routings (instructions detailing manufacturing process, source of information for shop travelers). You will actively support efforts to achieve operational excellence by defining/maintaining the systems and processes underlying the Parts Business

You will report to the Manager of Process Engineering and will be based out of our New Stanton, PA facility. This is a mobile position and is expected to be on site at least 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, update and maintain SAP master data (material masters, bills of materials, etc.) in accordance with master data standards and engineering input.
  • Review engineering change order packages to ensure adherence to design control standards
  • Evaluate the need for and executing mandatory change notifications associated with changes in design documentation.
  • Adhere to data governance standards and continuous improvement of those standards.
  • Implement data cleansing and enrichment initiatives to enhance data reliability and usability.
  • Participate in system upgrades, migrations and data projects as a subject matter expert for master data processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years' experience working with master data management, data governance, or in a related data-driven role.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP PP, MM and QM modules.
  • Experience running reports, analyzing data (including large data sets) and recognizing opportunities for optimization.
  • Basic manufacturing knowledge, including ability to interpret engineering drawing bills of materials, for products including built-to-print mechanical, electro-mechanical and instrumentation and control components/assemblies desired.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $64,800.00 to $81,000.00 per year.
