Position: Senior Java Developer (Banking Experience)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Need Locals only)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services along with modern frontend applications in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Build and deploy Microservices-based architectures with high availability and scalability.
• Develop and integrate Kafka-based event-driven systems for real-time data processing and messaging.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with front-end applications.
• Work on frontend development using modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular / React / Vue as applicable).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Core Java (OOPs, Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

• Solid understanding of Microservices architecture, including service discovery, configuration, and inter-service communication.
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions).
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and any modern framework (React/Angular preferred).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
