Role: Senior PeopleSoft Developer

Location: Hanover, NJ

Duration: 6+ months; possible extensions

Overview

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer with strong expertise in PeopleSoft 9.1 and Oracle to support a phased transition from legacy systems to a new enterprise platform. This role will play a critical part in data conversion efforts and maintaining system synchronization throughout the migration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQR extracts to support data conversion and integration efforts
• Utilize PeopleSoft Component Interface (CI) tools to ensure synchronization between legacy PeopleSoft systems and the new platform
• Support phased migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• Collaborate with functional analysts, DBAs, and project managers
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within PeopleSoft 9.1 applications
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer as needed
• Assist with validation and reconciliation during data conversion cycles

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft 9.1
• Solid Oracle database experience
• Proven expertise developing SQR programs and extracts
• Experience using Component Interface (CI) for data integration
• Experience supporting data conversion and ERP migration projects
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently in a contract environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting phased ERP migrations
• Experience integrating legacy systems with modern platforms
• Knowledge of PeopleTools and broader PeopleSoft architecture
