Role: Salesforce Developer
Location: Lansing, Michigan
Duration: Contract on W2
Experience Required
This contractual position requires a minimum of five years of experience working in the field of IT demonstrating progressive levels of technical competence and responsibility, a minimum of three years of development experience using the Salesforce.com CRM is required. Work experience developing application code for the Salesforce backend application and the Salesforce Customer Portal/Community Cloud using Lightning Components, JavaScript, Visualforce and Apex while ensuring that the design specifications are met, make declarative changes to the Salesforce system, use the Apex Data Loader, and may use Metazoa Snapshot for deployments. Considers alternative technologies or solutions and recommends innovative approaches to solving business or technical problems. This contractual position requires at least one advanced Salesforce developer certification.
Extensive technical knowledge of Visualforce, APEX, JavaScript, Triggers, Lightning Components, Lightning Builder, data modeling and integration.
If the senior-level Salesforce Developers performance does not meet our expectations, the Business Application Services manager will inform the vendor, terminate the candidate, and select a replacement as soon as possible.
Required qualifications for the Salesforce developer include:
- Must have a minimum of three years of development experience in a Salesforce work environment and a proven ability that demonstrates a successful work product.
- Work experience developing application code for the Salesforce backend application and the Salesforce Customer Portal/Community Cloud using Lightning Components, JavaScript, Visualforce and Apex while ensuring that the design specifications are met.
- Experience making declarative (point and click) changes to the Salesforce system.
- Experience with the Apex Data Loader.
- Experience with Metazoa Snapshot or change sets for deployments.
- Must hold at least one advanced Salesforce developer certification.
- Possesses and applies a knowledge of technologies such as Salesforce Customer Portal, Salesforce Community Cloud, Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud, API Integration, and Salesforce Lightning Experience.
