Job Title: Senior Cloud Application Developer

Location: Raleigh, NC- Hybrid/In person Interview

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Application Developer to help a public-sector client build robust, scalable cloud applications and serverless systems across AWS and Azure. The role focuses on backend development, AI/ML integration, and deploying cloud-native components, including Lambda functions, cloud databases, smart communication workflows and content delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda
  • Design hybrid cloud architectures integrating AWS and Azure services
  • Integrate generative AI foundation models using Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker
  • Manage cloud databases such as Amazon RDS and DynamoDB
  • Implement smart customer communication workflows using Amazon Connect
  • Configure Amazon S3 buckets and optimize global content delivery using CloudFront
  • Manage cloud security, including IAM roles, keys, secrets and API gateways
