Job Title: Software Engineering - Full Stack Developer Advanced
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6 Months + Extension
Bill Rate : $88/hr.

Overview:
Team is building a unified data platform supporting the movement and use of data for analytical/reporting needs. (Note: this is not a data migration project)
Technical Requirements
- Expert in Full Stack design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers)
- Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset
- May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks
- Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill
- Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test
- Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security
- Stays abreast of cutting-edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business; may give speeches and outside the firm, writes articles
- Looking for Intermediate and advanced candidates with AWS, Java/Python and Big Data experience.
Must Have:
- Strong software engineering/programming background
- Java and/or Python development
- Strong cloud experience - AWS highly preferred
- Approximately 6 12 years of experience
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience working with data/data-intensive applications
- Big data experience - Ability to think about scalability and large volumes of data
- Example: How would you scale a data source when dealing with significant/big data volumes?
- Kafka experience nice to have, not required
