Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep crypto and fintech domain expertise to support product and platform initiatives in a fast-paced financial environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with crypto exchanges, wallets, blockchain platforms, or crypto-focused fintechs, and be comfortable collaborating with Agile product and engineering teams.

This is a hands-on, onsite role requiring strong analytical skills, domain knowledge, and the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in finance, fintech, or payments
• 4–5+ years of recent experience in:
• Crypto exchange
• Wallet provider
• Blockchain startup
• Banking innovation with crypto exposure
• Experience working with Agile product teams supporting blockchain or payments platforms
• Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills

Domain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of:
• Cryptocurrencies and blockchain fundamentals
• DeFi, Web3, token economics
• Knowledge of financial systems including:
• Payments, trading, lending, custody
• KYC/AML, settlement systems
• Familiarity with crypto regulations:
• MiCA
• SEC guidelines
• FATF Travel Rule

Business Analysis Skills

• Requirements gathering and documentation:
• BRDs, FRDs, User Stories
• Process modeling (BPMN, workflows)
• Gap analysis and solution design
• Stakeholder workshops and requirement walkthroughs
• Strong understanding of SDLC (Agile preferred)

Technical & Functional Skills (Non-Developer)

• Ability to interpret:
• APIs and JSON payloads
• Blockchain explorers
• Understanding of smart contracts (concepts, risks)
• Experience with:
• Crypto trading platforms
• Blockchain wallets
• Custodial systems
• Basic database knowledge (SQL is a plus)

Tools & Technologies

• Agile tools: Jira, Confluence, Trello
• Modeling tools: Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io
• Data tools: Excel, Power BI or Tableau (plus)
• Crypto analytics tools:
• Glassnode
• Chainalysis
• Etherscan (nice to have)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
