  • Collaborate closely with a small, cross-functional team of government and contractor staff.
  • Create AFSIM representations of space and ground systems for AF/DoD use, applying engineering judgment to address intelligence gaps and accurately model real-world systems.
  • Utilize CI/CD tools to test and evaluate AFSIM models prior to delivery.
  • Prepare documentation, analytic reports, and multimedia products to support mission objectives.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE, or related field with 8+ years of experience; OR Master's degree with 6+ years of experience. Equivalent experience, training, or certifications may be accepted in place of a degree.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Modeling & Simulation (M&S) techniques.
  • Experience with CMake and Visual Studio for building and compiling AFSIM extensions and plug-ins.
  • Experience with AFSIM (Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling), including extensions and plug-ins.
  • Strong English-language writing and briefing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a highly technical, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a mixed government-contractor setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in CS, CE, EE, or related field.
  • Prior experience at WPAFB, working with Intelligence Community models and all-source analysis.
  • Familiarity with radars, aircraft, missiles, space vehicles, and tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and Simulink Coder.
