Databricks Expert – Senior Data Architect

Role Description:
Hands-on Databricks expert needed to architect, scale, and optimize enterprise Databricks platforms and data pipelines for healthcare datasets while ensuring platform security, regulatory compliance, and system performance.
 
Key Responsibilities
Architect and design end-to-end data platform solutions on Databricks.
Build and maintain scalable batch and real-time data integration pipelines.
Optimize platform execution, cluster performance, and cloud resource consumption.
Enforce data governance, access controls, security policies, and regulatory compliance.
Serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and conduct code reviews in a fully hands-on role.
 
Key Qualifications
10+ years in Data Engineering/Architecture with strong hands-on Databricks platform expertise.
Healthcare or Health Insurance domain experience.
Active U.S. Security Clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree in CS, IT, or a related field.
Databricks Certification (Data Engineer Professional or Solutions Architect preferred).
