Test Engineer

Location: Raymond, OH

Pay: $43.00 per hour

Looking for a hands-on engineering opportunity where you can support automotive accessory testing from concept through validation? We're hiring a Test Engineer in Raymond, OH to support product development, test execution, data analysis, and reporting for automotive accessories and specialty mobility products. This is ideal for someone with strong mechanical knowledge, project coordination skills, and experience supporting testing or validation activities.

Education Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred

  • Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures

  • CATIA V5/V6 experience preferred


Experience Requirements


  • Product development, test engineering, validation, or prototype testing experience preferred

  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or automotive systems

  • Experience with test planning, data analysis, reporting, and supplier coordination

  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

  • Ability to manage schedules, documentation, and project deliverables independently


Job Duties


  • Support development of product performance requirements and test methods

  • Plan, set up, execute, and document laboratory and vehicle testing.

  • Conduct prototype, DV, PV, material, and countermeasure testing.

  • Install accessories, instrumentation, and test equipment on vehicles.

  • Collect, analyze, and report test data.

  • Identify performance concerns and support root cause investigations.

  • Prepare technical reports, summaries, schedules, and presentations.

  • Coordinate testing activities with engineering teams and suppliers.

  • Support product investigations, vehicle build events, and launch activities


Physical Capabilities


  • Lift/carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Ability to bend, crouch, reach, stoop, stand, walk, push/pull equipment, and sit as needed

  • Must be able to drive a car
