Position Overview

Client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Engineer to join its Enterprise Platforms Team. This is an opportunity to work across modern web applications, cloud-native architectures, enterprise integrations, APIs, and AI-powered workflows in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the product lifecycle—from identifying business challenges and gathering requirements to designing, building, deploying, and optimizing scalable solutions. The team embraces an AI-first engineering approach, leveraging modern AI technologies and development tools to enhance productivity, automation, and product innovation.

 

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Engineering

• Develop, enhance, and deploy modern web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• Design and build scalable APIs and integration services leveraging AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and Secrets Manager
• Architect and maintain backend services utilizing FastAPI or similar frameworks
• Create and support serverless and cloud-native application architectures

Enterprise Platform Integrations

• Integrate and support enterprise platforms including:
  • Salesforce
  • Workfront
  • Workday
• Develop and maintain integration services that enable seamless data exchange across business-critical systems

AI & Intelligent Automation

• Implement AI-powered capabilities including:
  • Prompt engineering
  • Embeddings
  • Model orchestration
• Utilize leading AI platforms and APIs, including:
  • Anthropic Claude
  • OpenAI
  • Google APIs
• Contribute to AI-driven workflows and modern development practices

Developer Productivity & Automation

• Design and maintain internal developer tools and automation solutions
• Build productivity-enhancing scripts, utilities, and workflow automation frameworks
• Support engineering efficiency through tooling and process improvements

Security, Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

• Implement secure authentication and data protection mechanisms using OAuth 2.0
• Follow compliance and security best practices for API and application development
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including:
  • AWS CDK
  • Serverless Framework
  • Terraform
• Support containerized deployments utilizing Docker

Collaboration & Product Ownership

• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and drive successful project outcomes
• Monitor product performance following deployment and continuously improve solutions based on user feedback and business needs
• Contribute to team success through technical mentorship, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving

 

Required Qualifications

Professional Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience building and delivering web applications and/or platform services

Programming & Application Development

• Strong proficiency in:
  • TypeScript
  • Python
• Hands-on experience with:
  • React
  • Next.js
  • FastAPI (or similar backend frameworks)

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Practical experience with AWS cloud services
• Experience working within containerized environments using Docker
• Familiarity with modern Infrastructure as Code practices

Database Technologies

• Experience working with:
  • PostgreSQL
  • DynamoDB
  • SQLite
• Knowledge of ORM frameworks such as:
  • Prisma
  • SQLAlchemy

Security & Authentication

• Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 authentication flows
• Understanding of secure API authentication and data protection best practices

Communication

• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to document technical recommendations, architectural decisions, and implementation approaches
