Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP GTS Systems Analyst to support a large enterprise client’s SAP GTS environment. The client is upgrading from SAP GTS v11 to GTS E4H (SAP GTS, edition for SAP HANA). This role will be hands-on with testing and implementing the upgrade while also supporting the ECC backlog for the current landscape. You’ll join an integrated team of GTS and ECC functional and technical resources and work directly with business owners on requirements, delivery, and stabilization.
What You’ll Do
- Play a hands-on role in the SAP GTS E4H upgrade across design, build, testing, cutover, and go-live
- Plan and execute E4H testing cycles, including unit, integration, regression, and UAT, and drive defect triage and resolution
- Validate migrated Compliance and Customs Management functionality and the ECC-to-GTS integration in the new E4H environment
- Support post-go-live hypercare and stabilization of the E4H solution
- Support the current SAP GTS v11 environment and work through the ECC backlog of enhancements, defects, and change requests
- Work within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) model as part of a dedicated Agile Release Train
- Lead and participate in detailed design sessions with business owners for backlog grooming and requirements refinement
- Partner with GTS and ECC technical and functional team members on configuration and development of system capabilities
- Build and execute test scenarios and scripts with business owners and testers to validate functionality and resolve defects
- Provide technical guidance and direction on enhancements to Compliance Management and Customs Management processes
- Help drive change management tied to business process redesign
- Keep stakeholders informed on system changes and the introduction of new or enhanced functionality
- Manage multiple priorities and drive work through to completion
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SAP GTS or SAP processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent combined work experience and education
- Hands-on experience with at least one SAP GTS E4H implementation or upgrade, including testing and go-live support
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP GTS Compliance Management and Customs Management
- Experience writing and executing test scripts for GTS Compliance and Customs Management processes
- 3+ years of experience with Jurisdiction and Classification applications
- 2+ years of experience with Restricted Party Screening tools
- 2+ years of experience with exports and imports, including both self-filing and broker-filing
- Working knowledge of US Customs and Intrastat filing and reporting
- Able to work Eastern Time business hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a full-lifecycle SAP GTS v11 to E4H migration, including data migration and cutover
- Experience with OCR EASE
- Experience with SAFe and planning work within an Agile Release Train.
