Our esteemed organization is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety while driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our company's success. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations for new and existing products.
2. Ensuring the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimal costs.
3. Acting as a liaison between engineering and production to ensure that manufacturing processes are in line with the company's business objectives.
4. Leading and managing a team of manufacturing engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure personal growth and development.
5. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and leading efforts to implement changes, driving efficiency and cost savings.
6. Developing and implementing strategies for the manufacturing department in line with company objectives.
7. Communicating with all levels of the organization to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
9. Managing budget and production metrics and implementing cost control programs.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate who is a natural leader, with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. The following qualifications are required for this role:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
3. Proven experience in managing and developing a team.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality systems.
5. Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of leading projects to successful completion.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative solutions.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.
8. Proficiency in using engineering software and other relevant computer applications.
9. A continuous improvement mindset, with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
10. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
