The Program Manager will lead enterprise-level initiatives to migrate Informatica-based Master Data Management (MDM) and ETL processes from on-premises infrastructure to a cloud platform (e.g., Informatica
Intelligent Cloud Services - IICS, IDMC).
This role requires strong technical expertise in Informatica tools, cloud migration strategies, and program governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership
o Drive end-to-end migration strategy for Informatica on-prem to cloud, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
o Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of migration projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
o Manage multiple work streams including data migration, code refactoring, and integration with cloud services.
Technical Oversight
o Assess current Informatica environment (PowerCenter, MDM, IDQ) and define migration roadmap.
o Collaborate with architects to design target cloud architecture leveraging Informatica IDMC/IICS.
o Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance during migration.
Stakeholder Management
o Act as the primary liaison between business units, technical teams, and vendors.
o Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership.
Governance & Risk Management
o Implement governance frameworks and ensure adherence to organizational standards.
o Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership
o Lead cross-functional teams in Agile environments; run ceremonies and drive accountability.
o Provide guidance and support to technical leads and migration specialists.
Required Qualifications: Experience:
10+ years in Program/Delivery Management for Informatica Power Centre to Cloud migration
Proven track record in cloud migration projects, specifically Informatica MDM and ETL.
Hands-on experience with Informatica tools (PowerCenter, IDQ, MDM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Candidate with 12+ years of experience (minimum 10+ years in MDM)
Experience in implementing MDM project from On-Prem to Cloud (Informatica MDM On-Prem to Informatica Cloud MDM preferred)
Team Lead / Team Management exposure
Skills:
Strong understanding of data migration methodologies and integration patterns.
Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Certifications:
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with cloud-native services and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
Experience with migration accelerators and tools (e.g., Informatica Migration Factory, CDI).
Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
