- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Lead and support application and data migration from on-premises, AWS, or Azure to Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop cloud-native applications and microservices using Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Implement migration strategies such as Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, and Re-architect.
- Work with Google Cloud Platform services including Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL.
- Develop and execute database migration processes using Database Migration Service (DMS), Dataflow, and other Google Cloud Platform migration tools.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices for cloud-based applications.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Configure IAM, VPC networking, firewall rules, service accounts, and cloud security controls.
- Perform application performance optimization, troubleshooting, and post-migration validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop migration plans, resolve technical issues, and minimize downtime.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience.
- Proven experience in end-to-end cloud migration projects.
- Strong programming experience in Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience migrating applications, databases, and workloads to Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform architecture, cloud-native development, and application modernization.
- Strong knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Understanding of cloud security, networking, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer or Professional Cloud Architect certification.
- Experience migrating large-scale enterprise applications to Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes-based application modernization.
- Experience with BigQuery migration, ETL pipelines, and data warehouse modernization.
- Familiarity with migration assessment, dependency mapping, cutover planning, rollback strategies, and disaster recovery.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Application Migration: Migrating legacy applications from on-premises or AWS/Azure to Google Cloud Platform.
