Summary
- Design, develop, configure, and enhance SAP MDG solutions across master data domains, including Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance.
- Develop custom solutions using ABAP, ABAP Objects, Web Dynpro ABAP, and Floorplan Manager (FPM).
- Implement and enhance SAP MDG data models, entity types, attributes, relationships, and staging structures.
- Configure and customize SAP MDG workflows using BRF+ and SAP Business Workflow.
- Develop custom validations, derivations, and business rules using BAdIs, enhancement frameworks, and BRF+.
- Work with SAP MDG Data Replication Framework (DRF) to replicate master data across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Develop and support integration using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, SOAP/OData APIs, and SAP CPI/Integration Suite.
- Customize MDG user interfaces using Web Dynpro ABAP, FPM, and SAP Fiori, as applicable.
- Develop custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
- Support data migration, data quality, duplicate checks, and master data consolidation activities.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and technical issue resolution.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver SAP MDG enhancements.
- Prepare technical specifications, unit testing documentation, and deployment deliverables.
- Support SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and MDG transformation initiatives.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Master Data Governance.
- SAP MDG data modeling and governance processes.
- MDG change request configuration and workflow enhancements.
- MDG validation and derivation rules.
- Data Replication Framework (DRF).

- 5+ years of SAP technical development experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP MDG technical development experience.
- Experience working on at least one end-to-end SAP MDG implementation or significant enhancement project.
- Strong understanding of master data governance concepts and SAP MDG architecture.
- Experience with technical design, development, testing, and production support.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience implementing SAP MDG on SAP S/4HANA.
- Exposure to SAP MDG Central Governance and Consolidation.
- Knowledge of SAP Business Partner and Customer/Vendor Integration (CVI).
- Experience with SAP Fiori, CDS Views, and SAP BTP.
- SAP MDG or SAP ABAP certification.
- Experience working in Agile or global delivery environments.
