Cyber Operations & Weapon Systems Network Lead
Deliver and secure the critical network enclaves that power next-generation weapon systems for Major Commands (MAJCOMs) and frontline warfighters. In this pivotal technical leadership role, you will oversee information systems certification, cyber operations, and full-spectrum IT project management to keep our nation's defense architectures resilient, combat-ready, and dominant.
What you will accomplish:
- Direct Warfighter Impact: Ensure weapon system networks and communications are robust, certified, and fully capable of supporting real-world, high-stakes military operations.
- Comprehensive Cyber Command: Take charge of full-spectrum cyber operations, including Information Assurance, Software Assurance, Network Administration, and Systems Integration.
- Strategic SPO Partnership: Act as a key technical liaison to System Program Offices (SPOs), directly shaping software roadmaps, cybersecurity posture, and resource allocation.
- Weapon System Enclave Delivery: Deliver, secure, and manage mission-critical network enclaves supporting Air Force MAJCOMs and tactical defense platforms.
- System Certification & Integration: Perform rigorous certifications and verifications of Information System (IS) components and architectures to ensure seamless design compatibility and performance.
- End-to-End Cyber Operations: Direct daily cyber operations services, including network administration, software assurance, vulnerability management, and IT infrastructure support.
- Project & Resource Management: Execute structured project management methodologies to secure team funding and materials, ensuring all technical deliverables arrive on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- U.S. Citizenship
- May occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft
- May require work to be performed during hours outside the normal duty schedule
- Obtain and maintain an appropriate security clearance.

6. Skill in assessing security controls based on Cybersecurity principles and tenets. (e.g., CIS CSC, NIST SP 800-53, Cybersecurity Framework, etc.)
7. Skill in recognizing vulnerabilities in security systems. (e.g., vulnerability and compliance scanning)
8. Ability to conduct vulnerability scans and recognize vulnerabilities in security systems
