Duration: Contract
Microsoft 365 Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in SharePoint Online and a broad understanding of Microsoft 365 services. This role is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of SharePoint Online solutions at an enterprise level, while also managing M365 tenant administration and ensuring alignment with Zero Trust (ZT) principles, data governance, and AI integration strategies. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Graph API, data labeling, sensitivity labels, and records retention policies. They will play a critical role in configuring and maintaining secure, compliant, and scalable collaboration environments, leveraging strong PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and enforce policy controls. This position requires a proactive leader who can translate business needs into technical solutions, support cross-functional teams, and drive the adoption of modern workplace technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required to possess a DOD SECRET Clearance and be eligible for an IT I
- Computing Environment: Cloud Computing certification: (i.e., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 administrators Expert)
- Certification meeting DOD 8570.01 IAT 3
- Expert experience in managing M365 technologies with a focus on SharePoint Online
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in SharePoint Online architecture, site design, and governance
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 tenant administration
- Strong experience in deploying new M365 applications and services across environments
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Purview for compliance, data lifecycle, and audit
- Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API for automation and integration
- Deep understanding of data labeling, sensitivity labels, and records retention policies
- Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and policy enforcement
- Experience implementing Zero Trust (ZT) security principles in M365 environments
- Ability to support AI-driven features and integrations within M365 services
- Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical and business teams
- Ability to independently Stand-up, Sustain, Secure, and troubleshooting cloud services and features
- Services health monitoring and issue resolution.
The Contractor shall demonstrate adaptability in response to evolving operational requirements, technical environments, and mission objectives. The nature of the support role may necessitate the acquisition of new skills, tools, or procedures beyond routine expectations. The Contractor is expected to maintain a flexible approach to task execution in order to meet stakeholder needs and ensure continuity of service delivery.
