Hardlines Designer

We are seeking a talented Hardlines Designer to join our team, focusing on the development of innovative toys for preschool-aged children. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the design and development process, translating exciting entertainment titles into market-ready products.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creative process for developing hardlines consumer products, particularly toys for preschoolers.
• Lead product design and development from initial concept through to retail launch, ensuring alignment with brand properties.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create innovative and market-relevant products.
• Conduct trend analysis and product strategy development to enhance product offerings.
• Manage relationships with licensees and retailers to maximize product impact and market reach.
• Develop product development tools and guidelines to inspire creativity and efficiency.

Skills

• 6+ years of experience in hardlines consumer product design and development, with a focus on licensed toys.
• Strong understanding of product development processes and market trends.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with creating products for popular entertainment titles and franchises.
• Knowledge of game development and electronics within the toy industry.
• Proven ability to innovate and think creatively in product design.
