This Product Owner is a critical Agile role responsible for maximizing product value by defining the vision, managing the product backlog, and acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams. Key duties include defining user stories, setting priorities, and ensuring delivered features align with business strategy.

Your role in our mission

Key Responsibilities
  • Backlog Management: Owns, prioritizes, and maintains the product backlog, ensuring stories are ready for sprint planning.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Acts as the primary contact for stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Product Vision & Roadmap: Defines and communicates the product roadmap, ensuring development aligns with business strategy and customer needs.
  • Team Leadership: Works with developers to clarify requirements, prioritize bugs, and facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., refinements, reviews).
  • Delivery & Quality: Accepts completed work and ensures the product meets the Definition of Done and regulatory requirements.

  • Velocity & Capacity: Managing team workload effectively.
  • Sprint Goal Achievement: Delivering committed value.

What we're looking for

  • Experience: 5 + years in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Agile delivery.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.
  • Tools: Proficient with Agile management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks, product life cycles, and user experience.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills. A candidate that thrives in a fast-paced environment


Additional qualifications that set you apart

  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) preferred.
  • Technical Understanding: Ability to understand technical constraints (e.g., APIs, system architecture).
  • Industry Expertise: Specific experience in fields like Healthcare (EMR, HIPAA), Finance, or Manufacturing.

  • Must be available to work the Core Office hours 9-5p eastern or central time zones.

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
