Summary

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong building design experience to join a multidisciplinary engineering team. This role focuses on leading projects, managing teams, and delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions across diverse industries.

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Fort Myers, FL / Orlando, FL / Charlotte, NC

Job Type: Full-Time | Hybrid (2 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering projects from concept to completion
Manage project schedules, teams, and technical deliverables
Act as the primary point of contact for clients
Provide technical leadership and ensure engineering quality
Mentor and guide junior engineers
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor''s degree in electrical engineering or related field
10+ years in an A/E (Architecture/Engineering) consulting environment
Strong experience in power distribution, lighting, and building systems
Proven project management and leadership experience
Experience working in MEP / consulting engineering firms preferred
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – Required

Preferred Background

Experience in commercial, education, aviation, hospitality, entertainment, or federal projects
Healthcare or industrial project experience is a plus
Must have full project lifecycle experience (design to delivery)
