Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced in Financial Services domain as Java AWS Senior Developer to lead the design, modernization, and migration of enterprise applications to AWS cloud-native architectures.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering foundation in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and event-driven architectures, combined with hands-on expertise in architecting scalable, resilient, and secure solutions on AWS.
- Minimum 7-8+ years of Strong hands on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices-based application development and AWS.
Job Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Coding
• Define end-to-end solution for cloud-native applications built on AWS.
• Lead application modernization and migration initiatives from on-premises environments to AWS.
• Design scalable, resilient, highly available, and secure solutions using AWS best practices. Create and review High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and technical roadmaps.
• Design and implement microservices-based and event-driven solutions.
• Strong application development background using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, with hands-on coding experience building enterprise applications.
Strong understanding of Microservices architecture patterns, API-led architectures, and event- driven architectures.
• Experience designing and developing large-scale distributed systems and enterprise application platforms.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing Kafka-based event-driven systems.
• Strong understanding of messaging, event streaming, asynchronous processing, and distributed system integration patterns
AWS Cloud Expertise
• Assess existing applications and recommend modernization, re-platforming, re- architecting, or migration strategies.
• Lead migration of Java/Spring-based applications to cloud-native AWS architectures.
• Design migration approaches for application services, APIs, databases, messaging platforms, and integration components.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure successful migration and adoption of AWS services.
• Architect solutions leveraging AWS services including EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/Aurora, IAM, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Secrets Manager, and VPC services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar technologies.
• Partner with platform and DevOps teams to establish CI/CD practices, Infrastructure as Code, and operational excellence.
• Support implementation of security, monitoring, compliance, disaster recovery, and cost optimization strategies.
• Demonstrated experience migrating and modernizing on-premise applications to AWS cloud-native architectures, including multiple real-world implementations.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture patterns, container-based deployments, observability, fault tolerance, and high-availability solutions.
