Freese and Nichols is seeking a motivated
BIM/CAD Technician to join our Transportation team in one of our Oklahoma offices;
Oklahoma City or Tulsa. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys technical work, problem-solving, and wants to build a long-term career in transportation design.
In this role, you'll do more than produce drawings. You'll be part of a collaborative project team supporting roadway, drainage, and multimodal transportation projects across the region. With hands-on experience, structured training, and close mentorship, this position is designed to grow into a true transportation designer role over time.

Responsibilities: - Support transportation projects by preparing and modifying engineering and construction drawings
- Learn and apply Freese and Nichols CAD and BIM standards under the guidance of Project Managers, Designers, and Lead CAD staff
- Interpret sketches, markups, and design concepts and incorporate them into plan sheets
- Apply revisions from markups and backchecks to ensure accuracy and quality
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand how plans come together, from concept through final design
- Learn industry-standard tools including Bentley OpenRoads Designer. Prior experience is not required. We provide structured training, documented workflows, and hands-on mentoring
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications - Associate degree in CAD or a related field
