Software Engineer (Contingent Workforce Assignment)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support a complex, high-impact initiative as part of a contingent workforce engagement. In this role, you will work on large-scale systems challenges, contribute to technical strategy, and collaborate closely with cross-functional client teams.

You will be responsible for evaluating multifaceted engineering problems, shaping solutions, and ensuring alignment with technical standards, policies, and compliance requirements. This position requires strong technical depth, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and the leadership skills to drive work forward.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical consultation on large-scale, complex software engineering initiatives.
Review, analyze, and solve multi-layered engineering challenges involving new, unprecedented, or intangible factors.
Contribute to solution design, ensuring alignment with engineering best practices, compliance guidelines, and organizational standards.
Partner strategically with client personnel, offering guidance and thought leadership throughout the engagement.
Lead technical discussions, mentor development teams, and support decision-making across the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

.NET Core
Angular
Microsoft SQL Server
Strong experience as both a senior developer and technical lead.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, demonstrated through work experience, consulting, education, military service, or a combination of the above.
