Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Python Developer to support ongoing service development and enhancement initiatives. The technology stack spans multiple services built using Python, .NET, and Node.js, with front-end applications developed in React and Angular, backed by PostgreSQL and deployed in AWS environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Python 3, Flask, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, REST API development, microservices, and AWS, along with working knowledge of modern JavaScript technologies.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience with Python 3 and modern Python development practices.

Strong experience with Python web frameworks, particularly Flask and FastAPI.

Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, queries, optimization, and integration with Python applications.

Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services using Flask and FastAPI.

Strong understanding of microservice architectures, service-to-service communication, and distributed applications.

Proficiency with modern JavaScript, including both front-end and server-side development.

Hands-on experience with React or Angular for front-end application development.

Experience with Node.js for server-side JavaScript development.

Familiarity with AWS cloud services and deploying/scaling cloud-based applications.

Experience working with applications or services built using .NET is a plus.

Strong understanding of API integration, authentication, error handling, logging, and performance optimization.

Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and working effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Strong communication, problem-solving, technical leadership, and collaboration skills.
