Our client, a leading national retailer with a robust in-house retail media network, is seeking a contract Product Manager to support proprietary tools and operational workflows. This role sits at the intersection of product management, operations, and support, ensuring both internal stakeholders and external partners have reliable, scalable, and well-documented product experiences.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in adtech platforms and product operations, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, drive process improvements, and translate complex product concepts into clear, actionable guidance.

Job Description
The Product Manager will be responsible for administering and optimizing proprietary product tools while supporting operational workflows across the retail media ecosystem. This role will partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, go-to-market, and support teams to ensure high-quality product performance and user experience.
  • Manage and optimize proprietary product tools, configurations, and workflows to ensure alignment with business needs
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and operational efficiency
  • Serve as a frontline resource for resolving product-related issues impacting internal teams and clients
  • Triage and prioritize support tickets, including sentiment analysis and response recommendations
  • Partner with engineering, enterprise support, and business teams to escalate and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain internal and client-facing knowledge documentation
  • Leverage AI tools to create, update, and validate content for usability and accuracy
  • Ensure knowledge resources remain current and aligned with evolving product capabilities
  • Support onboarding, training, and communications related to product updates and launches
  • Translate product changes into clear, user-friendly guidance for stakeholders
  • Drive readiness and adoption efforts for new features and enhancements
  • Analyze user feedback, support trends, and operational data to identify experience gaps
  • Advocate for user needs in product discussions and prioritization decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflows, tools, and overall product experience

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in adtech products, platforms, or related technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe, analytics tools)
  • Experience managing proprietary tools, platforms, or operational product workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive solutions
  • Experience working with support models, ticketing systems, and escalation processes
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience influencing partners, aligning priorities, and navigating competing interests
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., user stories, sprints, scrum teams, iterative development)
  • Experience creating product documentation, training materials, or stakeholder communications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for workflow optimization, content generation, or support operations
  • Background in media effectiveness, retail media, or digital advertising ecosystems
  • Project management experience
  • Experience supporting product launches, onboarding, or enablement initiatives
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering or AI-assisted tooling
  • Experience analyzing user feedback and operational data to inform product improvements
