DevOps Engineer

Description

Position Description: The DevOps Engineer III designs, implements, and leads enterprise-level DevOps solutions, including CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation, and security practices. This role serves as a senior technical resource and mentor, driving DevOps strategy and continuous improvement across teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Leads the design and implementation of enterprise CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions. Architects and support scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments in Microsoft Azure. Defines and enforces DevOps standards, patterns, and best practices. Leads Infrastructure-as-Code strategy and reusable automation modules. Implements DevSecOps practices, governance, and compliance controls. Troubleshoot complex CI/CD, infrastructure, and production issues. Builds and supports a true DevOps/CI-CD software delivery model. Provides technical guidance, options, and recommendations to management. Coaches and mentors DevOps Engineer I and II team members. Participates in project planning, status meetings, and provides technical leadership. Performs other duties as assigned/necessary. Minimum Requirements: Experience with Advanced CI/CD architecture, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Infrastructure-as-Code, container platforms, scripting, automation, security, and monitoring. Expert-level experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms. Advanced scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills. Ability to handle risk and manage change comfortably. Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals through strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required. DevOps, CI/CD & SDLC Automation Strong experience with: o Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines) o Git (Azure Repos, GitHub, GitLab) o CI/CD pipeline design, build, and automation o Code scanning: Static analysis Dynamic analysis Ability to automate: o Build processes o Release pipelines o Code deployments into Azure services Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Hands on experience with: o ARM templates o Bicep o Terraform (preferred for future hybrid-cloud expansion) o YAML scripting o PowerShell scripting Ability to build reusable, repeatable IaC templates for dev/test/prod environments Azure Infrastructure & PaaS Services Strong knowledge of: o Virtual Networks (VNets) o VPN tunnels o Network configuration o Virtual Machines (VMs) o Azure App Services / Web Apps o Azure Front Door o Load Balancers o Azure PaaS components (compute, networking, storage, databases) Security & Architecture Ability to design secure cloud architectures Understanding of: o Cloud security controls o Network segmentation o VPN configuration o Scalability and high availability patterns Ability to translate application requirements into cloud architecture and automation

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
