NTT DATA's Client is currently seeking a Software Development Advisor to join their team in Las Colinas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Description:
Day to Day Job Duties:
  • Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET Core, .NET 6/7, and ASP.NET MVC.
  • Develop, maintain, and support RESTful APIs, Azure Functions, and Azure Durable Functions.
  • Build cloud-native applications and microservices leveraging Microsoft Azure services.
  • Design, implement, and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly UI solutions using Angular, JavaScript, CSS, and ASP.NET MVC.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Integrate and maintain Azure services including Application Insights, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, and API Management.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Create automation and deployment scripts using PowerShell and Bash.
  • Develop solutions utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Oracle databases.
  • Implement automated API and UI testing frameworks using Karate, Postman, ReqnRoll, Selenium, SpecFlow, xUnit, NUnit, and Sauce Labs.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, production support, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Follow Agile development practices and apply BDD and TDD methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in application development and support using Microsoft Azure, .NET technologies, and API Management.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience with C#, .NET MVC, .NET Core, and .NET 6/7.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience developing REST APIs, Azure Functions, or Azure Durable Functions.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience with Angular, JavaScript, CSS, and web application development.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure services including APIM, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, and Application Insights.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
  • Experience with PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation and deployments.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Oracle databases.
  • Experience with test automation tools including Karate, Postman, ReqnRoll, Selenium, SpecFlow, xUnit, NUnit, and Sauce Labs.
  • Strong experience applying Agile, BDD, and TDD development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Nice to Have: (But not a must)
  • Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) or related Azure certifications.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience with cloud security, governance, and Azure monitoring solutions.
  • Experience working in large-scale Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimization, system performance tuning, and observability practices.
  • Prior experience supporting mission-critical production applications in Azure cloud environments.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $60 to $71/hour. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
