Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EUC Architect capable of designing, building, and supporting a modern end user computing environment at enterprise scale. This role requires strong hands on expertise across Intune, device management, identity, operating systems, and Azure based VDI, with proven experience delivering multi site implementations, standardization programs, and complex transitions including divestitures and mergers/acquisitions. The ideal candidate will deliver a seamless, secure, scalable EUC experience while providing exceptional customer service—including executive level support.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Build From Scratch EUC Environments

  • Architect and deploy end user platforms including Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and virtual desktops.
  • Design and implement modern management frameworks using Microsoft Intune, Mobile Device Management, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure VDI.
  • Build secure, scalable endpoint baselines, device compliance models, configuration profiles, and automated provisioning (Autopilot).
  • Establish end to end EUC governance, documentation, standard operating procedures, and lifecycle strategies.
  • Integrate EUC with identity, networking, collaboration, and security platforms across the organization.
  • Lead EUC workstreams for divestitures and mergers, including Day 1/Day 2 planning, separation and integration strategy, and execution runbooks.
  • Design coexistence and migration approaches for Entra ID/tenant alignment, device enrollment cutover, profile/data migration, application packaging, and access re provisioning with minimal end user disruption.
  • Align endpoint security and compliance during transitions (baseline hardening, conditional access, device compliance, encryption, and EDR onboarding) in partnership with Security and IAM teams.

Operational Excellence & Support

  • Provide high quality EUC operations with strong focus on customer service, issue ownership, and end user satisfaction.
  • Deliver executive level support with professionalism, discretion, and urgency.
  • Troubleshoot complex endpoint, authentication, and access issues across Windows, macOS, mobile, and virtual environments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, and EUC operational standards.
  • Provide cutover, migration, and hypercare support for enterprise rollouts, mergers, and divestitures, including communications, onboarding, and rapid issue triage.
  • Manage endpoint OEM and vendor relationships (e.g., Dell/HP/Lenovo/Apple and resellers), including device standards, imaging/provisioning requirements, procurement coordination, warranty/RMA processes, and SLA performance.
  • Coordinate across Infrastructure, Network, Security, Service Desk, and third party vendors to deliver integrated outcomes, manage dependencies, and ensure measurable service readiness.

Security & Identity Alignment

  • Implement secure device configurations, conditional access, compliance policies, and identity based controls using Microsoft Entra ID and Group Policy.
  • Support PKI, certificate based authentication, and secure remote access solutions.

Requirements

    • 12+ years of IT support or EUC engineering experience.
    • Proven customer service and troubleshooting skills; strong desire to exceed user expectations.
    • Ability to work independently while adhering to documentation and execution standards.
    • Comfortable supporting executive leadership.
    • Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise EUC implementations (multi site, large endpoint fleets) and leading EUC components of divestitures and mergers.
    • Strong delivery discipline: requirements gathering, solution design, pilot/rollout planning, cutover runbooks, change control, and risk/issue management.
    • Strong background in:
  • Intune administration
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Active Directory user management & Group Policy
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Windows & macOS support
  • Azure VDI / Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
  • Preferred Skills
    • Expert understanding of the Microsoft Modern Workplace stack:
  • Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint
  • Windows 10/11, AD administration, Group Policies
    • Scripting & automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, or similar).
    • Expert in PC/Mac hardware diagnostics and software troubleshooting.
    • Deep knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID capabilities and identity governance.
    • Experience with tenant to tenant migrations and transition scenarios (coexistence, identity alignment, Intune redesign/re enrollment, device/profile migration, and app re deployment).
    • Strong Windows engineering skills: Win32 app packaging and deployment, Autopilot/ESP optimization, update rings/feature updates, and endpoint analytics/monitoring.
    • Certifications: CompTIA, Microsoft, Apple, or ITIL.
