Background/Need: The Group applies foundational and applied cybersecurity research to the most critical challenges in national security. We develop secure systems that are resilient to adversarial threats now and in the future. Our work spans the entire R&D spectrum: from system architecture and threat modeling to cryptographic protocol design, secure implementation, field prototyping, and transition. Our mission is to ensure that national security systems can be trusted and relied on, even in adversary-contested environments.
Group is in need of a versatile, full-stack software developer for several programs involving hardware, software, and real-time analytics. The developer will be working with a small team of other software developers to develop, test, and deploy software for operational use in the field. A strong background in Rust, C, Python, and intimate knowledge of and experience in Docker and AWS, software best practices, and willingness to learn are essential. In addition, strong communication skills and experience working with a team in rapid development cycles is required.

- Work Location: This position is HYBRID. The individual will be required to be onsite 3 days a week. Candidates are expected to be local at the time of the start of the assignment. Final schedule TBD by hiring manager.
- Interview Process: 1st round interview will be a Zoom with the hiring manager. 2nd round interview will be a Zoom or on site with additional team members as needed.
- Travel: Travel will be limited (potentially 2%) but all travel will be domestic to field sites.
