Senior Java Full Stack Developer – Lead / Senior Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join our technology team and lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications using modern Java technologies and Angular.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, Angular, MongoDB, and Oracle databases. This role will involve leading end-to-end development of mission-critical applications, including billing platforms, designing scalable solutions, mentoring developers, and driving technical excellence across the development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications using Java Spring Boot and Angular.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient microservices-based architectures.

• Build RESTful APIs and integrate microservices with internal and external enterprise systems.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular.

• Design, optimize, and manage Oracle database schemas, SQL queries, PL/SQL, and stored procedures.

• Lead technical design discussions and prepare architectural and technical documentation.

• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and provide technical guidance to developers.

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices.

• Perform application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.

• Resolve production issues and provide technical support for mission-critical applications.

• Ensure application security, reliability, and compliance with established standards.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing application architecture.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2+ years in a senior or technical leadership capacity.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Java 17+ and Spring Boot for enterprise application and microservices development.

• Proven experience designing and implementing Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs.

• Strong front-end development experience with Angular (Angular 15+ preferred).

• Strong database expertise in MongoDB and Oracle, including SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization.

• Solid understanding of microservices design patterns, including Circuit Breaker, API Gateway, and Service Discovery.

• Experience with Git, version control systems, and branching strategies.

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Spring Security.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, and Karma.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with API documentation and management platforms such as Swagger, Informatica, and MuleSoft.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Exposure to banking, financial services, billing applications, and payment processing systems.

• Experience with batch processing and job scheduling frameworks such as Spring Batch and Quartz.
