The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing mechanical devices, including tools, engines, and machines. They will work closely with a team of engineers and other professionals to create or modify equipment and machinery. Responsibilities:

• Use Autodesk and other CAD software to design and draft mechanical devices and equipment.
• Develop, coordinate, or monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs.
• Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedial actions.
• Oversee the manufacturing process for the device or machine, working closely with other engineers and team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Conduct research to inform the design and production process.
• Analyze the test results and change the design or system as needed.
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.
• Perform a full lifecycle product development (design with CAD, model, manufacture, prototype, and test)
• Provide feedback and advice to other members of the engineering team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Autodesk and other CAD software for designing, drafting, and modeling.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and creativity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
• In-depth knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software is a plus.
• Experience with process improvement techniques.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost objectives.
• Commitment to staying current with technology advancements in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
