This high-impact, visible role grants you total ownership of the electronic product lifecycle—transforming initial conceptual sketches into scalable, market-ready goods while continuously optimizing existing product lines.

Offering the perfect blend of strategic oversight and hands-on engineering variety, this position is designed for an inventive professional eager to see their bench designs reach retail shelves nationwide. This full-time role accommodates geographic flexibility, with placement available at our partner''''s facilities in either Mankato, Minnesota or Alpharetta, Georgia.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect pioneering electrical and electronic system designs, guiding products seamlessly from early ideation through scaled production deployment.

  • Formulate and manage comprehensive project schedules, financial projections, and quality benchmarks autonomously.

  • Construct, test, and iterate on rapid and traditional prototypes to validate mechanical reliability and operational efficiency.

  • Author detailed technical specifications, verification protocols, and product testing frameworks.

  • Execute thorough feasibility analyses, competitive benchmarking assessments, and official design qualifications.

  • Diagnose and resolve intricate electronic and electrical anomalies throughout developmental cycles and post-launch phases.

  • Originate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) while maintaining meticulous, highly accurate engineering documentation.

  • Sync closely with manufacturing units, operations networks, and external vendors to optimize production tooling, assembly workflows, and volume capacity.

What You Bring

  • Possess a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or an equivalent technical field of study.

  • Bring 5 to 15 years of professional expertise in Electrical Design Engineering, with a strong preference for backgrounds in consumer product development.

  • Demonstrate mastery of schematic interpretation, simulation methodologies, and advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems.

  • Exhibit a proven history of steering Hardware Development initiatives all the way from initial concept to high-volume manufacturing.

  • Apply a sophisticated understanding of New Product Development (NPD Processes) alongside fundamental financial modeling.

  • Utilize exceptional analytical capabilities, inventive problem-solving techniques, and articulate communication skills to drive cross-functional alignment.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Annual Base Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 (Tailored to depth of experience)
