Role Description:
 
This is a high-impact Practice Sales role designed for a "Technical Closer." You are responsible for the technical revenue growth of our Cloud Service Line. You will be serving as the primary solution architect during the sales cycle to ensure every proposal is technically sound, profitable, and aligned with hyperscaler funding.

Core Responsibilities
  • Practice Growth & Pipeline: Partner with the sales team to identify and qualify new leads. You will be responsible for building the technical pipeline and converting leads to opportunities and bring them to closure.
  • Migration & Modernization: Lead complex cloud journeys using the migration frameworks. You must be able to architect cloud-native, microservices-based modernizations that move beyond simple "Lift and Shift."
  • Security & Governance: Implement AWS Control Tower, Azure Blueprints, or Google Cloud Platform Landing Zones. Own the DevSecOps pipeline, incorporating automated security, compliance-as-code, and IAM governance.
  • AI-Driven Cloud (AIOps): Use AI to accelerate the cloud lifecycle. Design solutions using GenAI for code refactoring, AIOps for predictive monitoring, and Agentic AI for autonomous infrastructure management.
  • Hyperscaler Partnerships: Act as the technical liaison for AWS, Microsoft, and Google. Navigate funding programs (e.g., AWS MAPAzure AMMPGoogle Cloud Platform Partner Incentives) to secure project credits and reduce the cost of entry for clients.
  • Technical Sales Ownership: Own the "Technical Win." You will whiteboard architectures, build functional POCs, and define precise engineering effort estimates for all proposals.

Technical Stack & Hard Skills
  • Hyperscalers: Expert-level, in-console proficiency with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Automation: Hands-on with Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE).
  • AI/ML Services: Practical experience with Bedrock, Vertex AI, or Azure AI Studio/Foundry. Understanding of RAG and Agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain).
  • Security Tools: Deep knowledge of Control Tower, KMS, Sentinel, and cloud-native WAFs.

Practical Qualifications
  • 10+ Years Experience: Extensive background in Cloud Architecture and Technical Sales within an IT services or consulting model.
  • You must be able to build functional environments and troubleshoot live architectures, be hands-on
  • Proven ability to navigate hyperscaler internal ecosystems to align our solutions with their funding and co-sell requirements.
  • Based on the East Coast (New York preferred) for regional client and partner meetings.
