Network Analyst - Hybrid in Lehi, UT

 

This is a long-term contract position. Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

 

Summary

The Network Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise‑level network infrastructure across routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, VPN technologies, and SD‑WAN environments. This role ensures high availability, security, and performance of all network services while providing hands‑on troubleshooting and implementation support.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, implement, and maintain Cisco routers and switches in an enterprise environment, including advanced troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Manage configuration, deployment, and ongoing support for:
  • Cisco Firewalls
  • Cisco VPN solutions
  • Cisco Routers & Switches
  • Meraki Wireless
  • Velocloud SD‑WAN
  • Cisco ISE
  • A10 Load Balancers
  • Additional network team devices as required
  • Perform cable management tasks, including installation, labeling, testing, and documentation.
  • Support and maintain internet connectivity, including ISP coordination, circuit troubleshooting, and failover validation.
  • Configure and maintain DHCP services, including scopes, reservations, and IP management.
  • Conduct TCP/IP protocol analysis to diagnose and resolve network performance issues.
  • Configure, analyze, and troubleshoot VoIP protocols and related network components.
  • Maintain and configure network monitoring tools to ensure proactive detection of issues and performance trends.
  • Document network configurations, diagrams, procedures, and change management activities.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support infrastructure projects and network‑dependent initiatives.
  • Participate in on‑call rotation and provide escalation support for critical network incidents.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Cisco router and switch configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, ACLs, and network security fundamentals.
  • Experience with Cisco firewall technologies, VPN solutions, and wireless systems.
  • Working knowledge of SD‑WAN, preferably Velocloud.
  • Familiarity with Meraki, ISE, and A10 Load Balancers.
  • Experience with VoIP protocols and network support for voice systems.
  • Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar).
  • Ability to interpret packet captures and perform protocol‑level troubleshooting.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
