Description
We are looking for a skilled Dynamics 365 Support Administrator to provide operational support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F& O) to users across global locations. This role is essential in maintaining the system's stability, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with business needs. This is a long-term contract position based in North Canton, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F& O), ensuring system reliability and performance.
Manage user roles, security permissions, workflows, and approval hierarchies while adhering to compliance standards.
Lead or assist in User Acceptance Testing, regression testing, and validation of system updates and new developments.
Oversee system updates and environment refreshes through Lifecycle Services, ensuring smooth implementation.
Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs, integrations, and data interfaces to maintain seamless operations.
Coordinate testing cycles, develop test scripts, and ensure stakeholder approval prior to deploying changes.
Support data management activities, including imports and exports, while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
Maintain documentation, including user guides, training materials, and process workflows.
Deliver training sessions and onboarding programs to enhance user adoption and system familiarity.
Manage ticket queues, resolving incidents promptly and documenting resolutions effectively.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or Operations, or equivalent certifications related to Dynamics 365 F& O.
2-5 years of experience working with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
Strong understanding of Active Directory, SQL, and computer hardware.
Proven expertise in application support and troubleshooting within Dynamics 365 environments.
Familiarity with data management frameworks and the ability to ensure data consistency.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and accommodate time zone differences.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform or reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus.
Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise applications, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with a strong grasp of system architecture and user workflows.
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the D365 Finance & Operations update process including change management, regression testing, issue tracking and resolution, user training, and update deployment through LCS.
Ability to dissect complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions with minimal supervision.
Skilled in documenting, optimizing, and enforcing business processes that align with system capabilities and compliance requirements.
Comfortable working across departments and time zones, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable language for non-technical stakeholders.
Embraces evolving technologies and business needs, with a track record of adapting quickly and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintains high standards in data accuracy, system configuration, and documentation.
Passionate about empowering users through training, support, and clear guidance, fostering confidence and adoption of new tools.
Demonstrate high standards of ethical behavior and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
