Responsibilities:
Design and implement Oracle Golden Gate replication architectures that ensure reliable near real time data movement across multiple environments and business applications
Administer Oracle databases by performing installation configuration patching and upgrades to maintain secure and stable production and nonproduction systems
Monitor database and replication performance using enterprise tools and tuning techniques to proactively identify and remediate bottlenecks that affect critical services
Develop and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases including regular validation of restore procedures to minimize business disruption in case of incidents
Configure and manage Oracle Golden Gate processes such as extract pump and apply components to maintain consistent and accurate replication across heterogeneous sources and targets
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation covering replication topologies database standards operational runbooks and troubleshooting guides for use by wider technology teams
Collaborate with application owners infrastructure engineers and support teams to plan capacity changes manage schema updates and align database solutions with ongoing business initiatives
Perform root cause analysis for replication lags data discrepancies and database incidents and implement durable corrective actions that strengthen overall platform resilience
Implement and enforce security controls within Oracle databases including user access management encryption policies and auditing configurations aligned with organizational governance
Support change and release activities by reviewing database and Golden Gate related changes executing migration tasks and validating outcomes to ensure smooth transitions between environments
Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripts and tools to improve reliability reduce manual effort and support standardized management of large scale Oracle deployments
Provide expert technical guidance to peers and stakeholders on best practices for Oracle Golden Gate and Oracle database administration enabling consistent adoption of high quality standards
Engage in capacity planning and performance forecasting activities to ensure that database and replication infrastructures can scale with growing data volumes and evolving business demands

Qualifications:
Demonstrate extensive hands on experience in designing configuring and operating Oracle Golden Gate replication solutions across complex enterprise environments
Show strong proficiency in Oracle database administration including installation upgrades backup and recovery performance tuning and security management for mission critical systems
Apply solid skills in scripting and automation using tools such as shell scripting or similar approaches to streamline operational procedures and database maintenance activities
Bring practical familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery patterns including use of Oracle technologies to support resilient and continuously available data platforms
Exhibit capability to work effectively in hybrid work model settings leveraging remote collaboration tools and structured communication to coordinate efforts with distributed teams
Display strong problem solving and analytical skills to investigate replication issues database performance concerns and data integrity challenges and deliver reliable solutions
Possess experience interacting with cross functional technology stakeholders to understand requirements translate them into robust database and replication designs and validate successful outcomes
