Responsibilities:
- Implementation & Configuration: Set up and configure Oracle CC&B applications to meet client-specific utility billing needs, including CIS divisions, dependencies, and integrations
- Functional & Technical Design: Prepare functional and technical design documents, application and business process flows
- Integration Management: Configure and troubleshoot third-party integrations (e.g., bill print extract, energy efficiency vendors) and manage data sync requests
- Billing & Customer Care: Manage bill and letter composition, billing cycles, rates, meter reading, payments, and customer service processes
- Testing & Support: Conduct unit and integration testing, troubleshoot issues, and support system operations
- Process Optimization: Provide technical solutions and best practices to optimize CC&B implementations, troubleshoot complex problems, and document processes
- Collaboration: Work with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Required Skills & Experience:
- Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of Oracle Utilities CC&B, including Bill Presentment Architecture (BPA), Mobile Workforce Management (MWM), and Meter Data Management (MDM)
- Technical Skills: Java, SQL, Groovy, PL/SQL, IWS Service, SOAPUI, Jenkins, WebLogic, VM, and scripting
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Experience: Typically 6–8 years in utility billing or related domains, with proven CC&B implementation experience
Work Environment & Expectations
Work may be performed in an office, hybrid, or fully remote environment depending on client requirements and business needs. Travel may be required based on project assignments and client engagements. Extended hours may occasionally be required during critical project milestones, testing, deployment, go-live, or production stabilization activities.
