Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to fabricate, assemble, modify, and repair sheet metal components and assemblies in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, using precision measuring instruments, and working with various hand and power tools to produce quality parts that meet customer specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, fit, form, and assemble sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications.
  • Operate fabrication equipment including brakes, shears, presses, drills, punches, grinders, and hand tools.
  • Lay out, measure, mark, and cut materials to required dimensions.
  • Perform drilling, riveting, fastening, deburring, and assembly operations.
  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Verify conformance to quality standards and dimensional tolerances.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet production schedules.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years of sheet metal fabrication, assembly, or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of fabrication and assembly techniques.
